WHAT IS SOSA?

The purpose of the MSUCOM chapter of SOSA is to represent and educate the future osteopathic surgeon. SOSA stresses understanding of osteopathic principals in relationship to disease in the practice of surgery and provides a forum for discussion among students and surgeons. Additionally, SOSA promotes education in the field of surgery.

It is our goal to bring in great speakers from many different surgical specialties.

Benefits of memberships include food and drink served at lectures. Members will also receive a discounted rate at our suture clinic.

Suture Clinic

Opportunity to learn basic suture techniques with a hands on lab. The clinic is free for paid SOSA members.
